You Bought a Car… Now What? (In the Lanes)
Congratulations, you bought a vehicle at GRAA in the lanes. Here are your next steps:
Show the auctioneer/ ringmen your bidder badge then head over to the lower block clerk for your Bill of Sale.
The clerk will have you sign a copy and give you your copy of the block ticket. You have the option of also ordering a PSI for the vehicle right in the lane. Check the box on your ticket for a complete, mechanical, or frame PSI and we’ll take care of the rest.
When you are all done bidding head into the front office. Stop at the front counter to pay for any vehicle you purchased and pick up your gate passes or a list of vehicles you purchased
If a vehicle is on an IF you can head into our sales office to check on the status or counter your offer if needed.
Need your vehicles delivered? Head over to the transportation office with your gate passes or list of vehicles and they’ll help coordinate your delivery.
You can head out to the lot and find the vehicles you purchased and take them for a test drive on the test track or look them over. If you believe there is an arbitrable item, stop in or call the Arbitration Office before 5:00 P.M. the day you purchase the vehicle.
If you’re taking vehicles out yourself, find the vehicle you purchased and bring the vehicle and your gate pass to our security guards on the West Side of the building and you are good to go.
A couple things to remember, GRAA offers a variety of ways for you to pay for your vehicles, whether it’s a floorplan, cash, or approved check, all vehicles must be paid for within 6 days of purchase.
If you are an Illinois dealer and we have a title for your purchase we can give you that at the front counter, if you are an out of state dealer, we will mail you the title as soon the vehicle is paid for and we receive the title.
